Sula

The Sula luminaire designed by Jukka Jokinen is a work of art in itself. Its’ beautiful design language catches the eye and the soft light creates an atmosphere. Made of clear glass, Sula is an interesting combination of organic and geometric shapes that have emerged as a result of an experimental glass blowing process. The clear glass shade is produced by mouth-blowing and polished by hand. “In glass design, it is important to take into consideration the properties of the material. The production method of the glass lamp must be taken into account from the outset. The shape is created by testing and bold experimentation of ideas, ”says designer Jukka Jokinen. Sula can serve as both an interior lamp and a vase. The LED light source is placed under the glass shade of the luminaire.
