Product description
The Milano 2 pendant light gets its name from the Milan Triennial, where it was first exhibited. Designed in 1959, the simply beautiful and elegant WIR-85 light bulb, which was awarded the Grand Prix, is a decorative element itself. The light fixture consists of an opal glass LED light source and a metallic black luminaire holder. The package includes a dimmable WIR-85 light source, a lamp holder, a black cord, a lamp plug and a roof cup.

Tapio Wirkkala
Internationally acclaimed artist Tapio Wirkkala (1915–1985) is considered one of the leading figures of Finnish modern industrial design and one of its most respected designers. He was a multiple award winner at the Milan Triennale, received the Pro Finlandia medal in 1955, and was granted the title of Academician in 1972.
