Product description
Salama immediately brings light and color into dialogue, combining clarity with playfulness in its energetic expression. Colored elements based on geometric forms and their deconstruction are naturally cut from translucent acrylic, creating an imaginative palette. Yrjö Kukkapuro's recognizable design language is completed by the visible screws that fasten the components. A minimalist black metal frame gives the decorative lamp a stable base.
This striking development is characteristic of Kukkapuro's serial approach and builds on the previously introduced Perhonen table lamp. Salama's postmodern colors and richly shaped reflector create an inspiring aesthetic. Interior architect Yrjö Kukkapuro is one of Finland's most respected designers, and his seven-decade career forms a significant part of Finnish design history. The Innolux Salama lamp is now in production for the first time.
