Product description
To mark the centenary of Finland’s independence, Innolux reintroduced the Senator lamp, a design closely associated with Finnish independence. Designed by Lisa Johansson-Pape, this classic lamp was often seen on President Kekkonen’s desk as he delivered his New Year’s address.
The entirely handcrafted table and floor lamps and their high-quality materials exude dignity. Senator is now available with either a graphite-gray or green shade. The shimmering color of the green shade follows the original Orno color chart, while the shimmering graphite-gray shade brings the lamp into the present day. The polished brass components and leather-wrapped stem continue to be made by hand with uncompromising craftsmanship, following the traditions of master artisans and built to last from one generation to the next. Innolux produces Lisa Johansson-Pape’s designs in cooperation with her estate.
