What should be considered when purchasing a lamp?

When you go shopping for lighting, it is important to consider the type of space the lamps will be used in and the purpose of the lighting. If the goal is to illuminate an entire room evenly, it is recommended to choose a ceiling light that provides broad general lighting, such as a ceiling-mounted plafonier.

For general lighting in spaces such as the living room or bedroom, a pendant lamp is a good choice. In the living room, it is also worth investing in good overall lighting as well as additional table or floor lamps, which complement the interior and bring the space to life.

In the kitchen, strong and functional lighting is essential to ensure that cooking tasks can be performed quickly and easily. In dining areas, however, general lighting does not need to be as bright as in kitchen work surfaces.

When choosing a pendant lamp, it is important to consider not only the shape of the shade but also the installation height. The mounting height significantly affects the size of the light distribution. When placed higher, a pendant lamp illuminates a wider area, while a lower installation creates more focused lighting.
