Vesa Nilsson's hat-inspired Alba lighting family offers many possibilities for playing with colors and forms. Its streamlined shape began with a single line that, through experimentation and refinement, became the lamp's shade. The articulated arm gives the table lamp a playful bowing gesture and makes it easy to direct the light. Brass-colored details and the poised base contrast with the lamp's clean expression. Alba won first place in the Innolux 30 design competition, where the jury was impressed by its combination of timelessness and a carefully considered design.
