Product description
Perhonen invites light and color to play, leaving room for daydreaming in its gentle glow. The interchangeable colored elements are naturally cut from acrylic, whose translucency creates an imaginative palette. Yrjö Kukkapuro's recognizable design language is completed by the visible screws that fasten the components. A minimalist metal frame anchors the decorative lamp.
Yrjö Kukkapuro originally designed the lamp for his experimental studio house in 1968 in response to a genuine need. It reached its final commercial form during the postmodern wave of the 1980s, when color and form flooded into design. Now complemented by a pendant lamp, the Perhonen lighting family is in production at Innolux for the first time.
